Heated Power Yoga is an intermediate/advanced class based on the Ashtanga Yoga system. This class involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles, organs, and thoughts. The dedicated practitioner will find that the sequence becomes a moving meditation. This therapeutic yet challenging Practice will help you build strength, improve flexibility and posture, tone the muscles, and increase mental clarity. Students should be familiar with basic yoga postures.
