Come CELEBRATE the Summer Solstice with us!!! 108 Sun Salutations... Cant wait❤☀️❤☀️
Join us for this fiery, yet peaceful practice of 108 rounds of Sun Salutations as we enjoy every moment of light on this longest day of the year.
You say you don't want to do a SINGLE sun salute?! No problem! Come to share and receive the experience in the way that is right for you. Move, sit, breathe -- the choice is yours.
Participants should have a basic understanding of sun salutations and the ability to listen deeply to their bodies. Resting in child's pose and meditation will be invited and encouraged. Through your choice of movement, this practice can be either very demanding or very calming. You do not have to be an advanced yogi to have this experience. Careful instruction and modifications will be offered throughout.
This is about coming together as a community - in movement, in breath, in reverence and celebration of the changing season.

21 Day Challenge - Ashtanga Inspired
Summer time is knockin’ on our door - and with it brings our 5th Annual 21 Day Ashtanga Inspired Challenge!
How might many consecutive days of yoga impact you? What do you stand to gain by committing to something powerful? Would you like to be stronger in body, mind and spirit? Say "YES!" to this challenge and set your life on fire!
Be witness to the very noticeable ways that things begin to shift for you ... in your practice, your body, your life.
Whether you are new to the mat or very experienced, this is an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a consistent yoga practice with a group of people who are equally committed, each of us there to support one another.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Week ONE: We will practice a basic ashtanga sequence that will remain the same each day so that you are able to gauge and track your progress in each posture. Plenty of guidance and suggestions to modify each pose, making the practice accessible for every BODY.
Week TWO: You will be introduced to more advanced postures as an option to take your practice further; but the core practice remains the same. We’ll share short teachings on the ‘niyamas’ (self discipline, study, devotion) and begin to intensify the practice for those who are ready.
Week THREE: Learn about the ‘yamas’ (code of conduct, on and off the mat). Advanced postures will be added to the sequence, giving you opportunity to explore taking your practice to the next level. By this week, you will be strong and ready!
At the end of each daily practice, space will be available for those of you who would like to stay for meditation.
Sunday will be a rest day w/ optional homework.
If you cannot make it to the loft each day, you are encouraged to practice at home. We will be live streaming this challenge and those registered will be able to join us from anywhere. HOWEVER - we prefer your physical presence at the studio. You're awesome and we want to be with you.
WHEN, WHERE & HOW MUCH:
June 10 - June 30 :: 6:30am - 7:30am
Daily group practice at the loft (Mon-Sat)
Sunday is a rest day on your own.

ABOUT MIKE TAMBURO
Mike Tamburo has spent his life serving and exploring the power of music. His concerts and workshops are heart centered, uplifting, sonically multi-dimensional, life affirming experiences that focus on self transformation through conscious listening and breathing. He lives in deep gratitude and joy that his life of music has had meaning and been of use to the world around him. He seeks peace and harmony in his life and hopes to share this peace with others through his music and teachings.
Through extensive national tours both solo and with Crown of Eternity, Mike has offered countless workshops, classes, therapy sessions, concerts and retreats and has guided thousands of people to listen deeply, relax, reconnect to themselves and most importantly marvel at the power of sound.
Over the past 20+ years Mike Tamburo has become well known as a multi-instrumentalist, music educator, interdisciplinary sound artist, video artist, sound therapist, writer, meditation teacher and avid traveler; sharing over 1800 public and private performances and recording more than 65 albums of ecstatic and transcendental music as well as folk, drone, ambient and sometimes unclassifiable sounds.
Early in Tamburo's career he gained notoriety for his string playing (hammered dulcimer, guitar and shahi baaja). In many of his early performances he began to enter into altered states of consciousness and have out of body experiences while performing. In order to understand these experiences he went into years of self study; exploring Kundalini Yoga, energy work, the therapeutic use of sound and how sound effects consciousness, human perception and self healing. His love for long sustained drones, overtones and psychoacoustics led him to working with multiple gongs and other tuned metal instruments (bells, sound plates, singing bowls) as well as exploring the healing power of mantra and toning. Ashtanga Yoga Course w/ Yorleny
Join Yorleny for this two month Ashtanga Yoga Course - Learn the FULL Primary Series and solidify your personal practice! Some experience required.
Connect with the deepest part of yourself. Get the tools to advance your personal practice at home and at the studio. Learn the Ashtanga Yoga system, which is a living lineage that dates back nearly five thousand years and that has reached millions of practitioners.
Ashtanga Yoga’s Vinyasa system is sequences of postures (usually called series) that vary in difficulty and benefit. There are three series: The Primary Series, which cleanses and tunes the physical body; The Intermediate Series, which purifies the nervous system; and the Advanced Series, which cultivates strength and grace. They are accomplished in a sequential manner, which tests the student’s discipline and commitment. The sequential process of learning Ashtanga allows the yogi to develop the concentration, strength, flexibility and stamina necessary to progress in a safe, balanced and optimal manner. The result of practicing this system is an open heart and a clear mind in a light and strong body.
If you are looking forward to becoming more consistent in your practice and look inward while practicing a method that helps you find health and happiness, come and learn with us the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series. The Primary Series, Yoga Chikitsa, cleanses and tunes the physical body and it is where every Ashtanga practitioner starts. Poses can be modified and they can be made accessible for everybody. All you need is motivation and be committed.
